DOLPHIN
We stayed 4 nights and just loved the serenity of Dolphin House. Walking in the scrub and along the beach was just exhilarating. Our dogs just loved being off lead and allowed to run.
The views were just amazing. If you like peace and quiet and enjoy walking and fishing well this place has it all. Just a bit cold for swimming. Yummy fish and chips from the local general store which is not far and more beautiful views around the boat ramp and short walk to cliff views of the ocean.
Dolphin having a full kitchen available made home cooking easy as well. The house has 5 rooms which makes family travelling easy as well. We will be back. Thank you Julie.

We are forever amazed at the beauty of this place, the view from the balcony overlooking the bay or sitting in the living room watching the sunset, it is truly breathtaking. The facilities and amenities are top notch which make relaxing on holidays an absolute breeze. Dolphin and Venus Bay exceeded our expectations and has made the disappointment of cancelling our overseas holiday a distant memory…well almost!
The house is in such a glorious position. It’s so relaxing looking out over the bay. Sundowners a must.
Bed was incredibly comfortable, just like home. Loved the kitchen. Such good quality fittings and so very well equipped.
Used the BBQ a few times. Worked well. Don’t know how you can deal with the destructive crows on the deck up there.
Venus Bay is a sweet little place. We certainly relaxed! The South Head Walk is spectacular, and in our case, a photographers paradise. Got some great shots.

WOW. Magnificent views of the sunrise and sunset from both ground and 1st floor. 2 families (5 adults and 4 children) accommodated with ease, and never once did we feel we were living on top of each other. Layout of house ensured both families had their own bathroom of a night. Kitchen magnificent. Many an evening spent playing table tennis whilst cooking on the inbuilt BBQ on the 1st floor. Hardly saw anyone on the Harbor Point property for the entire 12 days – just what you want to recharge the batteries and spend some quality time with the family. Without doubt one of the best family holiday locations we have ever visited. Days spent fishing, feeding the pelicans, walking the scrub – evenings spent enjoying the view – without comparison. 5 out of 5 stars!! We did not want to leave and will definitely be back again!!
